HOMELESS CENTERS

These will be located on the outskirts of the cities on a large plot of land. They will be places of permanent residence for what were homeless citizens, and will be created to be totally self-sufficient. The initial dwelling will be simple shelters such as dome tents with the goal of the residents to help each other eventually in creating more elaborate living quarters. Organic farming will be encouraged to supply the majority of food for the centers, with an eye to educating residents in maintaining gardens and in efficient use of land for sustainable agricultural projects using the best plant knowledge humans have developed, such as the French intensive method, biodynamics, etc. Energy self-sufficiency will be a goal. Everything will be created and conducted with the focus on environmental consciousness. Communal dining, recreational and entertainment facilities will be available. A computer and business equipment facility will be available with training for those that desire it. Income producing cottage industries will be created such as automobile repair, renovation and detailing, sale of firewood, recycling, etc.
