On the evening of Feb. 1st 2002 I was at work. I work in a small grocery store. I suddenly had the symptoms of being drunk. Unsteady on my feet, slurred speech, my right hand and arm were weak and uncoordinated. I looked up and there was my friend Baba Ito. As I tried, in vain (slurred speech) to explain my predicament, Baba suggested we go outside and get some fresh air. We did. After a short time of Baba talking and me mumbling, Baba placed one hand on my forehead and the other on the back of my head. I think he told me to try to relax. In a short time I did start to feel relaxed and there was a tingling sensation and a sense of light or lightness. About then my wife arrived to pick me up and I went home.
As it turns out I was having a stroke If Baba hadn't been there I'm sure at
the minimum I would have some paralysis and on the other end might not be here to write this letter.
With Heartfelt Thanks,
I Thank You,
Baba Ito
